Athemes

An Atheme is a blunt dagger used in ritual magic, it is used to focus and channel

energy to or from the body depending on whether it is used to summon or banish. Its

use is ceremonial, and is commonly believed that the handle is either wooden and /

or black. However this is not a hard and fast rule, but it is important that the Atheme is

balancedwell proportioned and in tune with its user.

Brigid's Atheme

Imbolc is traditionally the time of awakening, the Celtic Goddess Brigid is rejuvenated, in her maiden form she stirs from her long Winter slumber. Patron of the Healer, Poet, and Smith, it is appropriate then that this Atheme was completed on the 1st of February and dedicated to her honour. Born of fire in the finest English Pewter, with a hand turned wooden handle in your choice of native wood. Ash, Birds Eye Yew, Birch, Bog Oak, Hazel, Holly, Oak, Rowan, Willow, (plus Ebony for those who choose black handles) and finished with a pentagram pommel. This 13 1/2" Atheme comes with a satin, highly polished, or satin with a polished Kris blade finish, to complete the triple Goddess set. Designed and created by WitchWay Crafts, we offer you a unique opportunity to own what we believe to be the only true ritual Atheme on the market.

Boline

Bowlines are part of every Witches Kitchen they are used

to harvest herbs, it is therefore important that the blade be kept

sharpe so as to make a clean cut. Do not forget to ask permission

before taking from a plant, and a word or gesture of thanks after ( a

little food or drink is always a good way ) common consensus

dictates that the handles are either wooden and / or White although

again this is not a hard and fast rule.
